Beargrease Sled Dog Race

Last night we ventured up the Gunflint Trail to Trail Center on Poplar Lake. The Beargrease Sled Dog Race is in full swing and we were able to catch about 6 teams come in. The kids had fun but they both, actually all three of the kids have head colds so they look worse than they actually feel. They did have fun and enjoyed the dogs, the bonfire, and suckers in the lodge.

Here comes a team. Every time a team would stop the dogs would look longingly at that cone. I know they all wanted to pee on it.

Oscar getting his gloves on. I guess Oscar got a little car sick on the way up and puked in his dad's truck. Poor Aaron, he just got a new truck and it's already been puked in twice. Once by the dog, and once my the half pint. (Hopefully this isn't one of those that happens in 3's)
