A year after the fire

We delivered part of my father-in-laws canoe party to their lake this morning. We were so close to my parent's property up at Seagull that we decided to check it out and see what it looked like. We haven't been up there since right after the fire last year. My parent's had the property logged this past winter and it was seeded with 1 million trees this spring (via helicopter)It will look great in about 20 years!
This area use to be so thick with trees you couldn't see more than 30 yards
